The holidays are always happy times for most people; therefore, I thought I'd try my best to express how most people imagine the holidays. This project was created from scratch and was mostly created with just the pen tool and the ellipse tool. However, I did use a few other tools like the text warp tool and red with blue gradient. On a slightly different note, to me this project was mostly just for the enjoyment of the holidays and I wanted to create something from my prospect of the holidays.

My Portfolio
This portfolio was very interesting to recreate; there were many aspects on improvement that I had not found previously that I had finally figured out. I changed the font to a more relieving/modern font that also made the portfolio look a lot cleaner. Moreover, I also placed the images in the portfolio in a better place on each page; I placed them to where they aligned with some other part on the page. Overall I thought the portfolio was quite simple to recreate, but was more of a creative type of project than anything.

Self-Protrait
Although I know this illustration does not quite represent my current image, it is supposed to be the self-portrait of myself. This project was a very difficult project to create. In the instructions there were many very complex details involved in their representation of their image. I think a very special element in this project was being able to make the dots an actual swatch. The way this was made possible was by using many different tools and elements such as the pathfinder tool and being able to use the grid to form the shape of the dots. Overall I thought this project was more of a new learning process than the detailed quality of the work.

Self-Correction
I have learned quite a bit from this project. For starters, I have learned things such as being able to use two blurs to counter each other. Another very important lesson this project has taught me is being able to use smart filters and multiple blend modes to increase a picture's effect. I believe that this project was a terrific opportunity to be able to test our abilities to improve something that we definitely want to improve. In my opinion the most important thing I learned in this project was how shadows and the spot corrector tool could really help to not only make an image look better, but also to increase the ability to visualize how the end product will come out to be.

Ogre Project
I had quite a bit of fun with this project even though it was a little bit of a challenge. I learned a lot from this project though. For example, I learned how to use the live paint and I also learned other very important concepts such as the width tool for the hairs on his head and the ability to be able to use the pen tool for almost everything. I used to hate the pen tool but it turns out that it can almost be used to shape about anything.

Another 2 logos
These were both almost about the same idea but much more simplistic than the last illustration I designed with a plant plus it represents the point I'm really trying to get across that water is very important and so is every drop.

Eco-Friendly water
While I was starting to make this I honestly had no idea what I was doing but little by little I kind of pieced it all together to eventually make this illustration. I started with just drawing a bottle with the pen tool and I was trying to see what that would get me. As I did that, I also looked up ideas for eco-friendliness online. I tended to see many pictures of plants in different circumstances so I decided I'd try a plant in a circumstance of my own so I started to experiment with the pen tool. Every piece of this illustration was made with the pen tool and some other adjustments to make the illustration much different than other illustrations.

Although I was so surprised that there's more than one way to navigate through In-Design, I also loved that you can add as many pages in this program as people may please. Another feature that really appeals to me is that the program can almost be described in a way that combines photoshop as well as some features from Illustrator and also tends to have a certain uniqueness to it that makes it different from all other programs.
